These tracks were Steve Treatment's first new recordings since his cassette releases on his own label in the early eighties. It was his first vinyl since 1979! These tracks were recorded in Topplers studio in 2005 and feature the musical talent of Scottish DIY band The NoMen. The songs are ramshackle and spontaneous like Steve's original 70s recordings with Swell Maps. Backwards guitars, hand claps, wonky drum machines and echo give these tracks a typical Bolanesque Treatment!

Track Name: Echo in the Backstreet
She's only a sinner looking for a sin

Echo in the backstreet

Track Name: The Tea Went Cold (blame it on the NoMen)
I was reading a good review of the NoMen "Keys to Talgarth Road" when I had to get the dictionary out which led to the effect of the tea going cold... blame it on the Nomen
